Prof Dr.-Ing. Rolf Radespiel Receives Honorary Doctorate at University of Stuttgart’s Annual Celebration

At the University of Stuttgart’s annual celebration last Friday, Prof. Dr-Ing Rolf Radespiel of TU Braunschweig was awarded an honorary doctorate in a solemn ceremony.

The annual event brings together members of the university and invited guests from science, business, politics, and society for a diverse program in which the Rector reviews the challenges and accomplishments of the academic year, honors are conferred, and a keynote address reflects the theme of the current Science Year.

Against this festive backdrop, the Rector of the University of Stuttgart, Prof. Peter Middendorf, and Prof. Ewald Krämer paid tribute to Rolf Radespiel’s scientific life’s work, highlighting his outstanding achievements and long-standing impact on the field. Both speakers emphasized the exceptional importance of his scientific contributions and expressed deep appreciation in their laudatory remarks. Rolf Radespiel’s personal connection to the University of Stuttgart has also helped pave the way for the trusting cooperation between TU Braunschweig, the University of Stuttgart, LU Hannover, and DLR within the SynTrac framework.

The celebration concluded with a reception, providing an opportunity for guests to honor our esteemed colleague’s award and continue their exchange in a festive atmosphere.
