David Gösele, M.Sc.

Institute of Aerospace Thermodynamics, ITLR, University of Stuttgart

As part of its research activities within subproject C02, David Gösele is developing highly accurate numerical methods to investigate dehumidification in the engine.

The motivation behind dehumidification is the reduction of climate-damaging persistent contrails. The numerical method employed is Multiphase DNS (Direct Numerical Simulation), which is particularly being expanded to include condensation.
