Ezzad Megat, M.Sc.

Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology, DLR

As part of the aeroacoustics research in project C05, Ezzad deals with the investigations of broadband noise generation mechanisms (due to turbulence) and the acoustic wave propagation of this aerodynamically induced noise in non-homogeneous flows (such as turbulent boundary/shear layers, jet flows etc.).
The aim his project is to quantify cabin noise excitation induced by thrust-vectoring propulsors as a physical process of potentially high impact at aircraft with tight engine-airframe integration.
Ezzad conducts his research at the department of Technical Acoustics at the DLR, Braunschweig.
